Rentsch Runs Rampant At The Pines
Shannon and Ian Rentsch tamed the wet and slippery conditions of the South Australian pine forests this weekend to win the Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro. Based out of Teagle’s Quarry on the outskirts of Millicent, the Rentsch Team made the most of starting in pole position on Sunday morning, rocketing away from the startline and establishing a 30 second lead over fellow Victorian, Glenn Owen by the end of the first lap. From this solid foundation Rentsch was never headed, leading the race from start to finish and greeting the drenched chequered flag in a time of 3 hours 48 min and 3.79 seconds.

Fellows Storms Home At PWR Sunraysia 500
David Fellows and Andrew Kittle have taken the lead in the Australian Off Road Championship after a dominating performance this weekend at the PWR Sunraysia 500. Held just outside Mildura at Tapio Station, Fellows charged through the bull dust and fast station tracks in the Peter Kittle Motorsports Jimco, to take the outright event win. Ahead of reigning Australian Champions Shannon and Ian Rentsch in second place and the Outerbounds Racing Jimco of Travis Robinson and Adam Trewella.

Tapio Tango
Fresh from the thrills of the Hattah Desert Race, local motor sport fans are already gearing up for the PWR Sunraysia 500 to be held later this month. Almost 50 drivers will line up at Tapio Station on July 25th & 26th for the event, which is Round 3 of the Australian Off Road Championship.

Spencer Gulf Off Road Association are the promoting club for the Baroota Enduro. The course is situated at Baroota 17 km north of Port Germein South Australia in the Mid North State. Early entries close 8th March.

Bike entries for the 2009 Tattersalls Finke Desert Race have already reached 400 since opening five weeks ago. Car entries are due to open at the beginning of March. Donald 400
The Donald 400 is scheduled to take place on Saturday 25th & 26th April 2009 in Donald, utilising surrounding roads and properties. This event is being promoted by Off Road Racing Australia Inc, President of the group Mr Owen Anderson said, this years events preparation is well underway with may changes from last year including the removal of some of the long straight and the inclusion of a quarry and bush fields.
